Vision statement.   HAZAK provides social, cultural, and educational programming for Temple members and non-members who are age 55 or better.

About the group's activities.   HAZAK schedules approximately 6 events per year. 2009 - 2010 events will include Financial Issues for Baby Boomers on Oct. 13th, Challah & Sufganiyot Baking Lessons on Nov. 19th, as well as a Social/Mixer Night, a performance at The Minnesota Jewish Theater, a spring gardening workshop/potluck at the home of Mary & Bill Lerman, History of the Mississippi River presented by Dr. John Atkinson of the National Park Service, and our annual Minnesota Centennial Showboat performance. Past events have included outings to theaters and museums, speakers on the Holocaust, Elder Law and multiple uses of medications, and an interactive Tai Chi demonstration.
