Golden Kepah Program

History

Rabbi Raskas started the Golden Kepah program which was endowed years later by Richard and Nancy Grobovsky. It has been a staple at the Temple of Aaron for generations. David & Paula Schraber and Ronald & Ruth Bear later created the Wall of Excellence featuring the names of all the recipients. Its success and our pride in the program has allowed us to strengthen our future Torah readers. We hope a renewed interest from the staff allows for more people of all ages to achieve this wonderful goal using Torah reading as a catalyst for more active participation in services and the beauty of reading Torah.
