Sacred Rock
The rock symbolizes many different roles in Judaism. We call God our Rock and Redeemer and the Rock of Israel. We use rocks when we visit loved ones at the cemetery and we view nature that surrounds us as holy earth.This year the clergy wanted everyone to have a piece of togetherness since we will not be together. We have purchased rocks and added our logo. These Temple of Aaron rocks will serve two purposes throughout our virtual holidays. First, we encourage you to hold the rock tightly when you feel alone. Knowing that we each have something to hold lends itself to the feeling of community. Second, we will use these rocks throughout services as a physical reminder of each other and the holiness community creates.
For those living out of town or physically unable to receive one, we will be mailing a stone to your address. The rest of the stones will be available for pickup outside of Temple of Aaron under the canopy starting September 3rd.

High Holiday Personal Prompts
The High Holidays are always a time of reflection. There are several prompts that you can explore by yourself or with family and friends. You can use them as writing exercises or a check in on one’s personal thoughts. These can be done before services or during.
